Milwaukee's #28, First Baseman, Prince Fielder, has been a great addition to the Brew Crew. Last season Fielder was acknowledged by fans with the second highest total of votes for the Mid-Summer Classic. In the process, Prince became only the eighth Brewer to start the All Star Game. He participated in the Home Run Derby at AT&T Park in San Francisco and launched a 455-foot moon shot, but failed to make it out of the first round. Prince responded with a scintillating September. In 90 at-bats, he batted .333 and slammed 11 homers. He was a leading candidate for NL MVP and he hit 50 long balls and drove in 119 runs. Both numbers rivaled the best single-season production in his dad's career.

Fire fighters across the country risk their lives each day to save the lives of others. That commitment has also carried through to helping save the lives of those affected by neuromuscular disease when the International Association of Fire Fighters joined MDA as a national sponsor in 1950. We are honored to present this unique and very touching package sent to us by the Coney Island Fire Department in New York. This helmet, signed by the members of E245, L161, and BN43 companies of the Coney Island Fire Department commemorates the bravery put forth "343" fire fighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
